• bangkok

  I went to experience thailand and singapore this past summer. my first stop was bangkok.
  
  
  if I had to sum up bangkok in one picture, this would be it.
  
   
  a woman who was also buying a drink noticed that we were tourists, so she asked us where we're from and bought us a bag (mixed drinks on the street come in small plastic bags with a straw) of thai iced coffee and welcomed us to thailand

  this is a tuk-tuk, the choice of transportation. It's far cheaper than a taxi, scary in a fun way, small enough to fit into alleyways, and is as fast as a car (because there is always, always traffic). We got scammed by one tuk-tuk driver, but that's another story.
